NIIT is looking for a SME/ coursewriter who can provide an introduction to programming using the Objective C language.
This introduction to programming and the Objective-C language is the first step on students journey from someone who uses apps to someone who writes them. Based on Big Nerd Ranch's legendary OBJECTIVE-C BOOT CAMP, this course covers C, Objective-C, and the common programming idioms that enable developers to make the most of Apple technologies.
This introductory-level course introduces the tool and methods compatible with Xcode 4.2, iOS 5, and Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).
The course features short exercises to keep students motivated and moving forward. Hands-on practice is essential to learning any programming language. During this course, students will complete labs that allow them to apply the right tool and create applications using the techniques covered in the course.
Students will also be given written assignments to evaluate their knowledge of the concepts and techniques covered in the course.
Students will also complete a project in which they will build an application that uses Objective C.
